The 1992-93 CBR250RR continued the MC22 formula with no mechanical changes listed against the launch model. Its aluminium frame and high-revving 249 cc inline four kept it at the top of the Japanese 250 cc sports class. It was built mainly for the domestic market, though many were later exported second-hand.
